Great things can happen with an open concept kitchen and the help of Holcomb Cabinetry! 
A customer from Trolley Square in Wilmington, DE recently reached out to us in hopes of fixing their kitchen. When our customer first came in to remodel their kitchen they ultimately wanted to improve upon 3 key things:
- Update the cabinets and countertop
- Create a more open concept
- Improve the overall functionality of the entire area
In order to achieve these goals, we knocked down the wall between the kitchen and dining room. By keeping half of the wall, we were able to add to the amount of cabinetry the kitchen could contain.
We also added custom-depth cabinets to the area opposite the sink for additional storage and counter space. On top of this, Holcomb Cabinetry installed a pull-out trash can cabinet and a 3-drawer cabinet unit to improve the utility of the area and give certain cabinets a specific purpose that our customer was looking for.
With these custom cabinets, we also incorporated a soft-close feature.
All of the changes made by Holcomb Cabinetry allowed for this kitchen to have the open concept, increased storage, improved functionality, and the new and improved look that our customer’s had in mind.
